Drone-based 3D photogrammetry combined with surveyed Ground Control Points (GCPs) produces volumetric measurements that hold up against ground-truth weights consistently within a few percent. Manual measurement with tape and rod typically carries 10–25% error before density assumptions, so drone measurement is significantly more accurate.

No. SilagePlan supports both drone-based 3D measurement and 2.5D satellite mapping. Satellite mapping lets you measure piles from a browser without flying anything. Accuracy is lower than drone measurement but still significantly better than manual measurement, and the workflow is much faster for operations with many sites.

No. FeedBunk AI works with the trail cameras most farms already have pointed at the bunk. Pull the SD card, upload the images, and the system handles the rest — empty-bunk hours, deliveries, pushup activity, all detected automatically.

Rumi Walk is offline-first. The app works with full functionality inside metal barns and other locations with no signal. Voice transcription, KPI scoring, and report generation all run locally. When you are back online, the data syncs automatically.

Herd management software focuses on cow records — reproduction, health, milk production. Aurox focuses on the feed side: silage inventory, feed bunk performance, and barn observation workflows. The two are complementary, not competing. Aurox products are designed to integrate with whatever herd software your operation already runs.

Most operations are operational within a week. The work is mostly setting up Ground Control Points (GCPs) at each pile site, training staff on the drone flight workflow (or 2.5D satellite workflow if no drone), and connecting harvest records. The software itself takes minutes to configure.

You do. Aurox does not sell, redistribute, or share customer data. Your inventory measurements, drone imagery, bunk camera footage, and observation logs remain your property. We use aggregated and anonymized patterns to improve product quality, but identifiable data stays with the customer.

Yes — and most successful Aurox deployments are tightly integrated with the nutritionist or consultant. We have features specifically for shared accounts: nutritionists can review inventory, shrink trends, and bunk metrics across multiple client farms from a single dashboard.

Aurox is headquartered in the US and primarily serves dairies in the US and Canada. We have international customers (some are listed on the homepage) and the products are usable internationally; the SilagePlan satellite imagery layer covers most major dairy regions.

Yes. Aurox products are subscriptions, not multi-year contracts. You can cancel at any time. Customer data is exportable so you keep your inventory history if you do.
